On this page, you’ll find the interviews we’ve conducted with people across the country. Some are audio recordings and some are video, depending on where we met, what was practical, and each participant’s preference.

We publish these conversations without editorializing because we want each person’s thoughts to come through as fully and honestly as possible. Too often, interviews in national media are shortened or shaped in ways that can leave out important parts of the conversation and change how someone’s views are understood. Our goal is different: to let people speak for themselves.
